In 2017, an idea for this type of group was formed on a bus after a conference. Katharine heard Naomi speak on her educational projects, shared an idea for a national group of educators and then it went... nowhere.... until 2019 when Amy joined us. We formed an advisory committee, prepped through 2020 and 2021 while weathering a global pandemic. And finally, we launched the Network of Pediatric Palliative Care Educators in January 2022. This will be an iterative process that we hope grows over time!
